Leaf Series Pinot Grigio
\nA small parcel of Pinot Grigio was machine harvested and transported to the winery in the cool of night to retain freshness of the fruit.
\nIt was then destemmed and pressed to stainless steel tank for cold settling of solids.
\nThe juice was then racked to a selection of seasoned French oak barriques for a slow cool fermentation. The wine was left in oak on yeast lees for 3 months to build palate weight and texture.
\nTasting comments - aromas of pear, lime, spice and pastry complement a palate that is weighty and long with flavour. Subtle texture throughout the palate is lifted by a gentle refreshing acidity.
